Oil residue in intake manifold ?

I am fixing a stripped bolt on coil pack # 6 and I had to remove the intake manifold to correctly fix the issue. There is an oil residue on the inside of my intake. I do have an oil based filter. Is this something normal or is there an issue starting here?

splintercel, that is normal. That oil that you are seeing is coming from the PCV valve. No big issue other than if you haven't change the PCV valve in the last 40K miles, this would be a good time to do it.

Awesome. I will get on that. I have everything apart so why not
