Hey ladies and gentlemen,

Ok, I have new info about a suspension issue I have been fighting with on my "99 expy EB 5.4L, No air ride, Swapped over to coil/over Shocks."

I have changed and checked the next set of things. " Both of the front sway bar links, checked rear sway bar and is connected correctly, body mounts are still good." I also wanted to mention that I have not had the tires alligned on the truck for quite some time, Actually since I have owned the vehicle. lol.

I have taken the liberty to make some measurements of the lean from 3 different places to see if it helps identify where and from what my lean is coming from.

Wheel Well Gap: The Measurement was from the center of the hub to the bottom of the wheel well lip.
DF - 20.25"
PF - 20.75"
DR - 21.25"
PR - 20.50"

Shock and Coil sizes: Actual measurement of the size of the shocks/coils on the vehicle. Again they are converted from air to coil over all 4 tires
DF - 17"
PF - 17"
DR - 15"
PR - 14.75"

Torsion Bar Bolt Height: this is the measurement from the top of the bolt to the small plate on the inside.
DS - 1"
PS - 1-3/32"

There is all over the info that I can give...I dont know what to do, and am holding off getting the truck alligned because anything I mite need to do could require me to get the tires adjusted again.

Thanks guys, any help would be awesomely helpfull

Well here are my thoughts. Based on those measurements alone the truck is not leaning a lot. That tells me something is just barely off. If you are planning on getting a wheel alignment, do it. See what the shop says. Anything you change is not going to be changed enough to warrant another alignment.

Also just to put it out there, an alignment on these trucks only affects the front wheels. The rear wheels are not adjustable since they are on a solid axle.

From what I see in your measurements, the big difference lies in the back, not the front. I would not concern too much with the t-bars at this point since they will have little bearing on the rear height. This is getting pretty technical, but try and measure the number of coils in an inch of each spring on the back. I am curious if one spring is more compressed than the other, though I doubt it is.

Another thing is are any of the tires more worn than the others? Do you have the spare on by chance?
