Not sure why, but these new Hankook 265/70/16 offroad tires look tiny on my 4x4. What do you guys think? Am I crazy? Or should I try to bump up the tire size? (Maybe Discount Tire would take 'em back...)

Hate to say it , but they do look small.
Also as they wear they are going to look smaller and smaller.
I am in agreement, it would be best to trade up.

I have the same size tire on my 2wd, but it is 265/75/16 Toyo Open Country HT for Highway.

Thanks guys. Definitely 265s and definitely stock ride height. Most of the 4x4s I see in the DFW area have a similar stance. Want to say I my old tires were 265/75/16s... these new Hankooks are 70s. And man do they look small to me.

I'm going to contact Discount Tire today and see if they can help me out and get me back into a 70 series. Wish me luck!

Indeed, same as I currently have 265/70-16.

I will be bumping up the size this summer as they are too small for my taste

Looks good to me. Got my 16" rims ordered yesterday. Here is what mine will look like.

I've got the same tires on mine.. Love the Dynapro At-m's... Great tire. Mine are 315/75/16's though... I think you could go a little bigger on yours.

Update

Discount tire was great. They took back my small 265/70/16 Dynapros and replaced them with 75 Coopers (same price for each vs $20 more for the 75 Dynapros over the 70 Dynapros). And in retrospect, I really like the look of the white letter (out) much better over the Hankooks. Here are the Coopers --- Discount Tire Direct

Best part, it only cost me $12 total. Wow... makes me glad I've been doing business with Discount Tire for 10 years. Have no plans to go anywhere else.

And I do think the truck looks better with the larger Cooper tires. Thanks for all the input, guys. :fishing1:

I love discount. They price matched my 38s on my bko, and gave me a free new (said it was a loaner but looked brand new) falken spare for the expy. I imagine the fact that Ive been taking our work vehicles there for a few years might have had something to do with that. They are quick and really responsive. Looks good man.

I dont know why ford had 2 different tire heights. The 16 wheel is 30" vs the 17 that had 31.5".

I still have the factory 16" wheel and tire and I noticed my speedo is inaccurate or about 1.5% over the actual which equates to the 1.5" undersized tire height.

Looks better. Cooper makes a good tire too. My dad runs those on his truck. I have 33in Coopers and would do this tire size again.
