04 EB, all of a sudden by back up sensor stopped making noise, if the radio is on and i am close to something it will cut off the music, but it will not make the beep sound. Any ideas?

i recently replaced the rear glass and rear wiper motor

thanks in advance

Check fuses and wiring for the system...could be a short or the speaker is bad...the speaker is right behind the 2nd row on driver side in pillar

check in the message center to see if the system has been disabled

The system is automatically enabled when the gear selector is placed in
R (Reverse) and the ignition is ON. The RSS control in the message
center allows the driver to disable the system only when the ignition is
ON and the gear selector in R (Reverse).

is there a cut out mesh for the speaker or is it just behind the plastic? when you say pillar you mean the one on the back side of the rear door correct? that huge side panel with the sub woofer needs to be removed? thanks for everything

no cut out for the rear back-up sensor...the cut out is for the sub...but that entire panel will need to be removed to get to the 1" speaker for the that sits right behind the 2nd row seats...right above the 1-cup holder is the speaker in that pillar between the 2nd row door and the rear side window...not hard to take it apart...start with the rear cargo area...pull the bottom and top panels...pull the rear corner panel...and then open the 2nd row door and pull up door sill...you will need T30, T40, or T45 star sockets...cant remember to remove the seat belts for 2nd and 3rd row...once thats all done...pull the large panel...sub and amp will be exposed and you will see speaker right by 2nd row door

no one has...its a 1" or 2" speaker and most that have had probs have said that it has been wiring or something other that the speaker itself...
