Ok, I took my y pipe off because truck don't run with converters/cats hooked up, so I tooke off to replace 2 converters or to gut them, but noticed pass side was gutted and driver side wasn't. Why is pass side exhaust wet from fuel or whatever and how will truck run if I gut the other 2? Truck seems like it don't want to run or rev up when exhaust was hooked up so I let it drop down just a little to where it could breathe because the person I got truck from said they were driving it parked then wouldn't run after that and said cats were bad and unhooked the exhaust and we got truck pretty cheap and put the exhaust back on and didn't want to run, you unhook it, it will run and take the gas. I just want to get this thing running and soon. Anyone know what could be the problem and what not? Thanks

i would take off the rear cats and leave them off. unless you need them for smog. will make the truck run better. then if they doesnt fix the issue then just let us know.

Ok, I'm going to buy 2 new fronts and take the back off and see how it runs. Why would truck not run with exhaust hooked up then run or idle better with unhooked? The pass side is gutted and not driver side, is that enough to make truck not run, idle real low, pop thru intake when hitting gas, and wouldn't take gas when hit throttle unless you hit it repeatedly

If the drivers side cats are almost completly plugged then yes there could be enough back pressure on the one bank to make it run like you are discribing. The excess fuel you are seeing in the passanger side exhaust could be what is left over from the poor running conditions just dumping out the exhaust valve.

BTW do you have a CEL and if so could you share codes. The codes would really help with more awnsers.

No cel on. I keep the battery unhooked.
