I was on another Ford forum 10 years right before this and saw it all; the hecklers, know it all's, drama queens, helpers, haters, nice people, not so nice. That's like a 30 year on the force cop getting a new beat and a newby cop there says; "you're new here aren't you". lol
Kind of...but that new the beat cop should mind his manners and step softly for a while as he gets a feeling for the area.
If he walks in like he owns the place or knows all about it because he's "seen it all before" he's highly likely to get more pushback than if he was chill for a bit.
I admit when I am irritable and "having a Snickers moment".
So far, you have just doubled down and or made excuses.
Then you try to dismiss me with "don't bug me" as if I have no right to continue to post what I decide to say since you the all-knowing has already ruled on the matter.
I posted before you got here and will continue to do so with or without you here.
If I disagree with something, I will state that and we can agree to disagree unless you don't do that.
I don't try to change minds but I often tell people I don't see why they do certain things.
Some take it offensively. Most dont.
People will meet with nothing but resistance if they try to change my mind.
I respect that you come from an Excursion. The most capable SUV ever. King of the SUVs!
I've had a few of them and worked on a few more.
I welcome your Excursion experiences because I think hands on is the best. I just would hope it would be without a combative "my way or the highway" add on.
So let's fix some excursions.
1: common Abs light esp after backing up a good distance.
Changing rear axle center sensor usually didn't fix it.
No scan tool info available.
Thoughts? Experiences?
2: rear power SUV windows stick often.
Never checked to see if window on seal, motor, or switch.
Experiences?
3: do you still have an Excursion?
I have some parts and why does everyone want those giant stick out towing mirrors? Are the standard not large or long enough?
4: oh the dreaded weak power door locks!
I took mine out, cut the rivets off and opened them. Took pieces of the flat push in part of old fuses and bridged the part inside (maybe resistor...it was on 07) and they had tons of snapping power for almost 20 years.
Nothing else of top of head.
Still GREAT vehicles!
