I put a new regulator in, sprayed the tracks with silicone, and it worked fine for a couple days but now it goes to the top and then comes back down 3". If you play with it for a while you can get it closed.

Did you use an aftermarket or Ford part?

I assume the electronics have not realized the window is fully closed when it reaches the end and is bouncing back as a safety measure (it thinks something is trapped between the frame and glass), but you probably worked that out yourself. I don’t know how you program or adjust the window controller to know when it’s closed, hopefully someone on here can tell you.
