Performance MAF sensor

Just put a catback exhaust on my 97 5.4L and looking for other bolt-ons for power. I have seen the performance MAF sensors advertised and thinking about giving one a try.

Anyone try one? Will it work with my K&N CAI?

I have the granatelli on mine; direct fit and bolt on.

I did not even know that there were " performance " MAS sensors. What's the difference between a stock and performance MAS?

Different calibration is supposed to improve throttle response, power and mileage

So do you have to reprogram your computer, or is it a plug and play component?

It works great, direct replacement. Yes on power gain as this was in conjunction with blower install. No tune.
