We're on a 1,200 mile trip to the Rockies, 2017 Limited with 49,000 miles. Normally we're pulling my enclosed trailer or at least have the Thule mounted on the rack when we go places. No Thule or trailer this trip, filled with 91 octane fuel and we're getting 21mpg! Well we were until we started climbing the mountains, now we're sitting at 19.5! This is a surprise because on previous trips without a trailer or roof mounted carrier the best we've gotten was 17.5-18, but it's been awhile since an unloaded trip, like 20,000 miles. The Thule has seen some milage! Excited to see what we can get driving downhill back home!

Yeah, the TT V6 is pretty incredible when it comes to highway fuel economy. I get 20 / 21 with my 2017 and the best my 2011 can muster is high 17's low 18's/
