Socket set, torque wrench, spare serpentine belt, jumper cables, air pump, tow strap, wood to set the jack on, flashlights, plus other random tidbits.

It depends on where I'm going. As a rule I have duct tape, jumper cables, spare transmission fluid and quart of oil.

Yesterday when I went slightly out of town to test new snow chains; I added a toolset, a shovel, my winch, chainsaw, insulated bibs and jacket (in case I had to walk a long way to get help or cell reception) spare water, a subway sandwich and TP.

If I'm going camping I load up and carry even more such as road flares, laser pointers, spare gasoline, chainsaw, large first aid kit, thermal reflective blankets etc.

It's on my list to buy a spare serpentine belt, a CB and 2 meter with Firesticks but I can't make up my mind on what I want to get yet. I'm also looking for a 60" HiLift jack, spare serpentine belt and a heavy duty snatch block.

I've been looking in to a "hand held personal protective device" as my buddy is a bit of a collector, but just haven't coughed up the money for the stopping power. When I go to Canada I take plenty of roads flares and if I camp alone a 60k volt electric fence.

A McDonald's straw, shoe lace, bottle cap, stick of big red, a tooth pick, a strike anywhere match and a piece of scotch tape.....if I break down and can't fix it with my hands then I use this stuff to make c4, blow the truck up and file an insurance claim & get a newer expy lol.

As a general rule I have a tow strap, a crescent wrench, 3/8 & 1/2" combined socket set and a 3/8 and 1/2 drive rachet. Honestly though, I've used those more for my old jeep cherokee than I've had to on my Expo.

Oh, and warm clothes/blanket.

A strong piece of tow rope. Tow rates here are high and smetimes it's dangerous to attempt roadside repairs esecially at night.

I have my old serpentine belt and the bar to install it but i have confidence in my trucks healthyness and in my proactive maintenance mentality that i dont worry too much about breaking down. However, in bad weather (winter) i carry tow straps and always make sure i have a warm jacket.

Tow straps, socket set, cables, bolt cutters, C-clamp, ball joint fork, pry bar, hand crank radio, blanket, and I have a box of power bars that sits in with my bottle jack haha. Also there is 40 bucks back there, none of you better come steal it!
