@Hamfisted I tried to remove the grommet, but I could not get it out without completely destroying it. So I ended up bypassing that connection. From the existing T next to the ECM, the new hose goes alongside the existing vac hose that originates at the throttle body, but it goes past the throttle body, over the LH valve cover and into the unused grommet just above the steering linkage. Then it joins the black vac hose underneath the dash at the vac hose connector located next to where you plug in a scanner (near the floor just forward of the console). The same solution could be used for the white (hot water) hose, if needed. Hope this makes sense, maybe I need a photo.
