I’m going to head to the junkyard to find an Expedition to swap passenger side mirror. Mine is a 2007 Limited with power fold. What other models came standard with power fold mirror? Don’t know else to know if one would have them unless it was standard on the trim level. Thanks.

King Ranch, some XLT Premiums but only if the box was checked. The mirrors will have the symbol on them.

Send me a PM if your search turns up nothing. I have a set of power folding mirrors off my 2010 Oxford White Limited I'd sell for a good price if you're interested. I swapped them out for tow mirrors and they worked perfectly when I removed them.

What kind of tow mirrors did you find for your Expedition? I have a 2014 Limited and use mirror extensions when towing. Wanted to talk to someone who has made a change.

Would you be interested in possibly selling your power folding if you find towing replacements?

I would if I could find something that worked and looked good. Doesn't seem to be anything out there for this. All these mirrors need is a couple of inches extended outward and it would work just fine. Seems like with all of the 2010's to 2014's out there someone would come up with an option. Even the slip on extensions won't work on a 2014 expedition, you have to use the strap on extensions.

The 1A Auto mirrors are really the only option. They're modeled after the F150 tow mirrors and work well. Only issue I had was that they'd vibrate out the extender arm over time. They stick out far enough without extending then so I just put a tiny screw in to hold them steady.

there are two plastic gears in the mirror housing. there is a guy who makes replacement gears our of brass, that you can replace. i need to replace the two gears on the passenger side. the drivers side works good.
i'll need to look up the website to post where to get the replacement parts from.
