I have a 2003 Navigator and so far everything except the climate seats and the unlock button on the door is working. The Seats I think I just need to see a dealer to get the module reset.
On to the lift gate. I read through hear, learned about the reset after a dead battery, got the power liftgate working like a charm. Then two nights ago, I started getting the Liftgate open message despite the gate being closed. Ive reset it a couple times just to see, tried manually closing it, no luck. So it seems like the sensor is done or something. Is the sensor in the latch? is there a way I can trick it so it thinks its closed, or will that not work with the power liftgate? Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it?
