Hey guys, I'm new here. Trying to mooch some knowlege. I just bought a 2000 EB 4X4 with 105K. It's in good condition except some of the power stuff. I pulled the seat off and when I push any power seat button I hear a clicking noise from the module(under the seat). When I push the power pedals the same noise comes from the same place. I called ford and gave them a part number and they said that part isn't even available anymore. I checked the fuses and all looks fine but since I get that clicking noise I don't think it's that anyway.
Also the power locks just half work. When I hit them, they try to unlock- I can feel them pulling, but it's just not quite enough to go all the way up. Windows work fine, all other electric works fine.
Any thoughts???

OK, I went to the junkyard and replaced the power module that was making the clicking noise. The new one made the exact same clicking noise and still didn't work. I checked all the fuses and everything is in order. That is the extent of my vast experience. Any help would be great.

ebo, because none of your buttons work, yet you can still hear a clicking, I would be looking at either a fuse that is starting to go and is simply acting as a resistor (leading to a voltage drop across the fuse) or you have a high resistance in the main power wire leading back to the control module.

I no longer have access to all of my factory service CDs, so, I do not have the diagrams to look at to give you a more detailed explanation.
