power sterring pressure switch.

I have a 99 expedition and am installing an 01 5.4 engine in it Ive compared all the wiring plugs on the engine between the two years and it seems that they are the same with the exception of the power steering pressure sensor plug the 01 engine does not have it . What im wondering is will it work with out it or will i have problems like a check engine light on or something else? I can change the harnesses if it will be a problem. thanks

Wel I got the engine runing last night tok it for a long test drive and plenty of koeo to koer cycles and no check engine light from the power stering presure switch not being hoked up. When I bought the engine from the salvage yard they told me that i would have to swap intake manifolds because there was a diference betwen a 99 and a 01 engine but i went ahead and used the 01 stuff . Wel so far it sems that everything is okay.
