Last week the driver side window died on me. Rolled it down and it would not come back up.

So I figured it was the power window motor. Picked up a new one and installed it. Hit the switch to roll it up and nothing happened. Hit the switch to roll it down and the window rolled up!

And then won't come back down. Had the original motor handy so I swapped the motors out and tried again. This time the motor worked just fine, but the window did the same thing, operating in reverse.

Any ideas, I"m thinking the actual window motor switch is bad and the window motor itself was never failed.

Thanks!

I'm guessing the switch is bad or a wire is crossed.

Just a guess though.

Thanks, I just ordered a new switch on Ebay for $25 shipped. Since the motor wasn't bad, that should fix the problem.

Installed the switch last night and it works great now :)

Now just need to take care of the rear driver side window that will not come down. Now that I've replaced the master switch and the rear window still doesn't work, it must be the motor.

Thanks alot of the input
