the cortex has gas saver setting so im guessing the flashpaq does as well
According to the guys over at SuperChips, the Flashpaq and Cortex are the exact same thing, except the looks and the fact that the Cortex comes with a 2-year powertrain warranty. The warranty is what makes the Cortex more expensive.
The electronics and preset tunes are 100% the same between the two devices.
@talls: thanks for answering my question about disconnecting the device.
I'll let you all know how I like it after a few tanks. It's already been shipped and I should receive it these days.
Hope the Flashpaq, K&N filter and Gotts mod combined can give me at least 3 MPGs.
I'll also be looking into a more unrestrictive muffler and maybe removing some weight... oh, and taking the time to change my tires back to summers would help too. It's April for Christ's sake!
