puddle lights

2nd gen expo puddle lights no working. anyone has ones that work do they light up when you unlock with the remote. I'm missing this feature...

They light up whenever the interior lights are on in my truck, like when you open a door, unlock the car or when shutting off the engine.

Could just need a new bulb if they never come on?

How did you break a T-10 driver just taking out a screw ?
To remove the lens you remove the T-10 screw (push the mirror body all the way forward to access the screw...) and release the retaining spring from behind the mirror glass. The lens will just drop down free. Use a clear 921 bulb for the courtesy light and turn signal light.

Compress this tension spring with a long flat screwdriver and push it down to release through the hole....

thanks for the help gang finally figured it out got the bulbs changed and everything is working properly . will post pics soon.
