Purchased "brand new" Followers and Adjuster

As i am getting ready to do my complete timing job I purchased these:

They came in a brown box in bags, loose like loose change ( all together in one bag, and oil coming out of them )
Used?

Brown Box, exactly the same part that FordTechMakuloco put in the description.

Also the improved holes on two of the followers are slightly off Not exactly in center. Before i install knock off's how do we know these are real? I dont want to do this job twice.

Oil coming out of them ? Like motor oil ? I'd send 'em back. Legit Ford rocker and followers are individually bagged, and clean, with just an anti-rust spray on them. No telling what you have there. Amazon is getting as bad as eBay. If you have a dealership nearby, maybe stop in their parts dept and see if they have some to compare. But regardless, I'd return those.

That seller Amazon Seller CDLC-209 has a one star rating ? Lots of complaints. No telling where that stuff came from.
Just a guy working out of a little house in Texas. I mean, a set of 24 rockers should be about $600, and a set of tappets close to $1k . So, what do you think this guy is selling for $320 ? Salvage parts ?

Yes oil each time i press the adjusters and whats odd is that they were all in one bag.

Those are the same ones I used for my timing job (verified against your link), and it came in the same packaging. That's the one FTM recommends and it's the amazon ford store so I didn't have any worries about loading them in. As for the off-center port I must not have the eagle eye that do but look at this link, it does actually look slightly off-center to me.

My thoghts exactly. Summit racing has the same set.

What worries me are all of them inside a bag bashing against one another..

Last summer we bought 24 lash adjusters & 24 rocker arms off Amazon (3rd party seller) and when we got it it had ONE of each.. so we expected 48 pieces, got 2. I called Amazon and requested refund & that they ban the seller we purchased from. Refund granted! So we turned to ebay and bought the 48 pieces from another seller. The rocker arms were fine, new version... but the first lash adjuster my husband pulled out fell apart in his hand. So again we went the refund route. The ebay seller didn't even want them back. He knew they were inferior, I'm sure. We ended up just reusing our lash adjusters but used the ebay rocker arms. So far we've had no issues. Praying every time I drive for safe travels! We did buy from Ford parts the cam shaft and the cam bolt. Our plan is to do the other side the same way... when we get around to it.

Hey I'm not all that far from Wilmer. Maybe like 1.5 hours. I was about to do a bunch of stuff to this 2011 Expy XLT we just got and then wanted to fill up the tank and do a straight highway run and compare the gas mileage to what it was when we first got her and I did the same before the work. Im MORE than willing to drive by and take a peek at the place and report back with photos lol. Let me know. I will be doing my drive in about 1 week.... maybe 2 weeks tops.
