Rack n pinion conversion

Looking to do a conversion. Tiered of sloppy steering. changed all componants and still ******.

All aftermarket parts are crap!

Anyone done one? if so what rack to I use?

By “all components” do you mean everything, even the steering gear.

I recently replaced my steering gear with a Red Head Steering Gear. I heard too many stories of people installing generic “rebuilt” units only to have the same sloppy steering. I wanted a unit that was actually bench tested prior to shipping. Sure I paid extra for it, but now my steering has ZERO play in it.

dschallmo98expo, did it help with the quirkiness of the typical expy steering? Sometimes the steering on these trucks seem to be slightly too quick.
