I'm replacing the radiator on my 98 Expy 4x4 5.4 w/HD towing. How do I get that funky bottom hose off and back on the new radiator? I bent the tab but can't get the hose to rotate so it will come off.

Had the same trouble when I did mine. Cut the sucker off and used hose clamps on the new hose. Also positioned the lower clamp so that I could get to it from underneath

I didn't reuse the old hose. Any time I replace a radiator I also invest in new hoses for peace of mind.
