I have an old kraco am/fm radio (for those who dont know its a old turn dial stye radio), I would like to insall it in the expy i wanna know if it will workwith the mach system. It only uses four wires for speaker wiring green for left side positive, gray for right side positive and a common ground for all negatives

Yes, it will work, but you need to be careful that the radio isn't too powerful as you will overdrive the mach amp and create havoc and potentially blow the amp. As for the wiring, can't help you there. If you get a wiring harness to plug into the factory plug, it will tell you which wires to match up.

dont know why front is louder than back...maybe you'll have to adjust sound on knobs...should be front/rear...any 8" sub will work...

98Expy, what speakers are you running in the truck right now. Odds are it is a combination of a few things:

1) rear speakers have a lower sensitivity and therefore don't make as much noise
2) the rear speakers are near the front seats and from the driver's point of view, the speakers have to work their way through the seats which will deaden some of the sound
3) possibly have a high resistance connecting on the common wire for the rear speakers.

Without putting my hands on the truck, hard to say which is the case for you.
