radios?

i want to get a new head unit to replace my factory radio system in my 99 and i notice that most head units are very small i was wondering what i could do with the outher space? i would like to put my cb radio under the new head unit if i can it looks like they both would fit. any radio suggestions would be apprcated to

Mod your dash. The double-din mod was surprisingly easy. Just make sure you use some patience. Then you definitely could put your cb in the second DIN bay Im sure.

Its in another forum and I know it has been referenced before in here. Great pics and instruction. I would recommend the Metra kit and definitely removing the bottom peice as suggested by Metra. I havent yet, and it throws the install off at the top. Doesn't look bad, but looks off center.

that extra spacer is eaten up by a dash kit. my kit came with the radio. craigslist. and it fit fine. i didnt remove that stupid metal thing even though i should have. i will when i get my next radio. so i just cut my dash kit. which is fine since i have my bass knob in there. even though its not being used since i still havent gotten the new power cable.

ive been torn between these 2. i think i want the R900. i have a JVC right now and it works GREAT! i just dont have everything all these have. and there have front rear and sub out puts 2 usbs. 1 rear 1 front. bluetooth with mic front 3mm aux. theyre cool. the R900 you can change the screen to be any color. the R810 has everything the R900 has just a little cheaper. so it dosent have all the output power as the R900. they are both good though.

i guess i dont have a picture of my dash. ill get you a picture tomorrow. but i dont have these hds. i have a jvc G-230 http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&...=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1138&bih=587 thats it and i love it. dosent have all the features of the alpines and pioneers but who cares. it plays mp3 cds and all copy cds and has an aux input in the front. ill take a pick tomorrow for you. its pretty much the same layout of the deck just blue not red.
