Hi new poster and new 22 EXPEDITION LIMITED owner since end of December .
Had It happened twice already that using remote start via fob, car only gives a half a crank and doesn't start and then when I manually start the vehicle I have the ABS light and powertrain system fault check eLSD and all driver assistance features don't work. Anybody have any more info about this?

Sounds dumb, but could be the battery. And knowing Ford, your car and/or the battery could have been sitting around for many many months. A lot of really weird stuff happens with these when the battery isn't up to par, one thing that doesn't happen is an intelligent message from the vehicle that just tells you that.

I know what you're thinking, come one, it's brand new. But i bet money many parts aren't. Did you have the vehicle built or find it on a lot?

Thanks for the replies.
So after the car was sitting overnight I restarted this morning and everything is cleared up and back to normal and got message "eLSD restored to normal" . this same pattern happened twice already and interestingly enough also happened Thursday night and cleared up Friday morning...

You have a battery issue. Ford over the past few years has been terrible about batteries. Like was said above these Computer driven vehicles get REALLY picky about voltage.

so the past week it happened twice only when it rains. once it happened when i restarted during a stopover and the other last night after work it rained both times and as far as i remember it only happens when it rains, and it did happen even after driving for 1 hour and stopping and restarting manually so its not the remote start, i know its weird but these are the facts. im actually in the automotive industry but cannot think of anything because it happens when the car is parked and it starts raining during the day, what can get wet without the car moving???
