I've seen some posts about doing both, but I could not find any final thoughts on the combination. My 2021 Max does not have CCD, so I am okay with just the Bilstein lift and would be okay with tires just under 34". After hours of scouring posts, it seems people are maybe slightly happier with Bilsteins alone versus ReadLift alone. I had Bilsteins on my Gen 3 and they were great...stiff and felt road but liked it. The extra lift from ReadyLift spacers and allowing bigger tires would be perfect though if it doesn't mess up angles and ride. Anyone? Thank you!

Running both would be fine. Just make sure the Bilsteins are set to stock height.

If stock height, wouldn't the 4600s be more appropriate?
It depends what you’re looking for out of it. The 4600s are more of a stock replacement. I have never run them before. The 5100s are an upgrade. I have run them on multiple f150, f250 and now our expedition. I like the firmer ride of the 5100s but that’s just me.

I have this combo. Unfortunately I just found my steering rack was damaged and needs to be replaced. This is due to the installer not setting the Bilsteins at their stock height and as a result it has a 4" lift. This is also with the ICON upper control arms installed.

You definitely will need an aftermarket upper control arm and don't exceed 2" of lift or you're facing a very expensive repair.

My new installer sourced a different upper control arm that can handle up to 4" of lift.

I don't know the make/model yet but will share.

I'm just replacing the ICON tubular upper control arm with the billet style. That's really the better way to go due to the Billet model's extra adjustments as compare to the tubular which is fixed.

I'm pretty sure my issues had more to do with bad/inconsistent front end alignment. Correct alignment is really critical for these setups.
