Rear Air Suspension Bottomed Out

I have a 2007 EL and this morning the rear air suspension bottomed out while I was in the gas station. I checked all the fuses and the relay seems to be working. When I pulled and reinstalled the 50A fuse the pump in front ran for a while and shut down but the rear did not raise. I jumped the relay to make the compressor run and it did but it seemed like the wire got very hot. I have battery voltage on the contact terminals but only 8VDC on the relay side.
Any help is appreciated.
