I have a 2003 Expy 5.4 2WD. The rear blend door is clicking, and when I went to purchase a new one, there seemed to be two types of shafts. A "D" shaped shaft and a star-shaped shaft. Can anyone tell me what is usually present? I don't want to tear the back apart to find out and then have to order the part, leaving the back undone until the new part arrives. I'm wondering if there is a standard shaft for this year's model or if it's a 50/50 toss-up that I need to identify it before ordering. Any help would be appreciated.
