I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here. I am a member of other vehicle forums and know that newbies can ask questions in the wrong area, if I'm doing that please excuse me.
My question regards removal of rear brake rotors on a '97 4X4. I had a bunch of trouble removing the front rotors this past summer. It seems to just require a lot of swearing and beating with a big stick. Anyhow will I have the same problem with the rears? Is there a better way to get them off than just to swear and hit? The rear has a backing plate of sorts that covers almost the whole rotor, is this easily removed in preparation for the beating and swearing?
Thanks in advance, Any words of wisdom appreciated.
