Will a rear end out of a 2000 expedition work in a 2002 Eddie Bauer.

there should be a tag or tags on the rear cover look the numbers up and it will tell ya what there are

There is also two different sizes of rear diffs. A 9 3/4 and a 8.8 i believe. If you switch sizes your ABS won't work and will illuminate the ABS light.

includes driveshaft issues then, drums vs discs & lug nut size changed at some point, 12 to 14 mm i think, might want ltd slip, diff gear ratios even 2wd depending on intended use, axle diameters changed for 9.75 ~ 98, trailing arm attachment holes got bigger from 97 -8 etc

lots to sort out before deciding
