In my '97 I had the heavy-duty trailer towing package and self-leveling rear suspension. Most else was the standard XLT. We pull a camper or a horse trailer from time to time, so the self-leveling was a nice feature.

Now to the (near) present.

A year and a half ago, we wanted pretty much the same. Imagine my suprise when I could get the heavy-duty trailer towing package, but if I wanted rear leveling I would also have to get Premium Sound, heated seats, and so forth at many kilobucks extra. Doesn't make sense to me! So I did with only the heavy-duty towing package on my 2011.

Now the question. Has anyone done anything aftermarket to get the same or nearly the same results? It's not a huge issue, but if I pull a trailer at night, my headlights tend to annoy oncoming traffic, which is somewhat less than desirable.
