I figured rather than start two threads for small questions, I'd mix here...
Still getting used to how Ford does things over past GMs and Nissan trucks. I am very happy with my new Expedition, but think some things are weird.
For one, the rear view mirror seems to have a distorted image. Everything is stretched a bit. You look at cars and trucks and they look narrower and taller than actual, and look perfectly fine in the door mirrors. I've had self dimming mirrors before, so I don't think it has something to do with that. Anyone else notice this? Nothing I can really do about it can I? Not a big deal I guess, but silly to use a subpar mirror quality.
The other thing is the LearCar2U garage door opener controls. I have 3 GDOs, and obviously 3 buttons. Two of the doors work fine, but for whatever reason, the third button on the Lear, after a week or so, starts controlling the door it's programmed to AND the middle door. Very annoying and could be dangerous or cause damage to the hatch on my wife's pilot if it's open in the garage and the GDO is closed, when I open mine. I wipe out the codes, reprogram it, and after a week or so, it just starts doing it again.
