Inside one, attached to the windshield. The piece isn't wobbly or anything, but while driving the view gets shaky

The cast aluminum base has a metal piece inside that works loose. You can either replace the entire mirror or there's a jerry rig way to put tension back on that internal metal piece to make it more secure to the steel mount ( mirror button ...) that's glued onto the windshield.

Ended up ruining my windshield. Tried to get it off without using the proper tool, instead tried with an allen key (another youtube video!!).
Had the rear view mirror moved aside a bit at a glass store. The guy put epoxy in the moving bit so now at least the vision isnt blurred, but a couple of hundred $$ will be down the drain.
