Ok now I'm getting pissed! Last night I was "trying" to pull the wheel bearing assembly and could NOT get that thing to move! I had a puller on it AND was hitting the corner with 17 lb hammer trying to break it loose. Anyone have any other tips? I'm next thinking about taking out the whole spindle and wheel bearing assembly and using the press at work. That thing is really stuck!!!

It does require a press to remove. You MIGHT get lucky heating the outside of the spindle to get it to swell, but I doubt it. By the time the spindle is warm enough to swell a significant amount, the bearing will be as hot and swelled as well. Its meant to be pressed in and out.

If you mean taking apart the hub assy. itself, to replace the
bearings yourself, then AceOverEights is right. But if you mean
pulling the hub assy. off the axle, I feel your pain. If you're using
the slide hammer, patience, heat and PB Blaster will move it.
I had to walk away a few times. One side took about 10 minutes,
but the left rear I had to quit, come back the next day for
a total of over half an hour of wacking it. If you're
trying to take them apart, IMHO not worth the
money you save unless you already have the press.
Buying the hub assemblies is the way to go.

I had to replace my LR hub assy a few months back. Here is what I put on there:
Amazon.com: Timken SP550203 Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly: Automotive

Not worth the hassle of pressing it apart, then back together, all the while hoping that the tired ABS sensor will remain operable. It was fun to get the hub off, I'll agree with that.. and by fun, I mean terrible. Took about 20 mins though.
