I have a 2010 Expedition and the rear wiper is driving me nuts.
Normally the wiper's range of motion (looking at it from the back) is about a little less than 180 degrees. (from about 5 degrees to about 175 degrees).
Sometimes, for reasons I can't figure out, it sometimes decides to sweep farther on both sides from -10 to about 190 degrees. This causes the wiper to leave the class and bang against the painted area.
It seems like it comes and goes, but I can't figure out why.
In case it matters I replaced the wiper "transmission" about a year ago. I would assume I did that wrong, but when it is in the good mode it works perfectly.
Any ideas on how to fix it? Reset it?
These new fangled digital controls are enough to make you drink!
