I recently purchased my 2000 expy XLT 4X4.
After getting in and out of the vehicle a few hundred times, I have become agrivated with the sound of the bell when i am exiting the vehicle. The lights are not on and the key is not in
the ignition. Why is the bell sounding? If that is just the way expys come from the factory, can I bypass the senser.
I owned a Honda Accord before the purchase of the best vehicle I have ever owned (the expy). The Honda would only shout at me if I left the keys in the car or if the lights were on. Why else would you want the dummy bell to come on?
Can anyone help?
