I ordered some CR2450 batteries for the remote. While I was trying to open up the battery compartment, I noticed there is a door key that can be used to gain access to the vehicle in case the battery is dead. With the car locked, I tried to use the key in the door (you have to pull the door handle out to see the key hole). It seems the key won't fit all the way into the lock. I might be doing something wrong. I would appreciate hearing from you if you know what's wrong.

I experimented with the key and you have to insert it so that it can be turned clockwise to about 2 o'clock. You then turn it back to 12 o’clock to remove the key. Let the door handle close over the key hole. Then pull it open and it’s unlocked. It’s less than intuitive for sure!
