I've decided that I want that dam removed. I've looked under the front, and just wonder about advice from someone who's done it. I see the eight plastic pins -- any trick to removing them?

Thanks in advance

Not yet, but please do a before and after pic. I'll probably head the same route.

Thanks for some pretty fine write-ups. I'll be under the bumper in the morning . . .

OK, removed the air dam this afternoon. Once I got all my doo in one basket, it took me about an hour; now knowing how it works, I could probably do it again in 20 minutes. Used my hydraulic lift for one tire, and placed a jack stand for insurance. Removed the white plastic push-pins, removed a dozen screws and bolts. Then it was just a matter of separating the tabs and tapping the dog ears apart, and the dam came right off.

Sure looks better without that piece of plastic.

Just did mine... not too complicated, took about 30 min. Buttoned it back up on the underside and I think I didn’t forget anything...

Did you pull those nut clips off too? If not, you'll probably lose them along the way.

@Yukon Joe
I didn't pull them off yet. They are on there pretty good. You have to pull two other's off to get the air dam off and then reinstall them. They are on there pretty good...
