Replaced Wheel Hub Myself

Instead of waiting for the dealer to do the job in 2 weeks I decided to replace the front wheel hub myself. Super easy to do but take a look at this picture, is this normal wear? It almost looks like it was burning.

That was my thought too... this after Ford replaced the right side but left this one as is.
