How much money is a replacement driveshaft for a 1998 5.4L?
Where is the best place to get it?

You could maybe try a junkyard, or w/e it's called (salvage?)

Or do you want new?

I don't necessarily want new...but it would be nice to know what the price is for new.
I'll search the net more thoroughly.

You might try getting yours rebuilt. There is a great driveline shop in seattle called "Drivelines Northwest". You might GOOGLE them and check into that. Or see if there is a local place.

Mine is nearly rusted through. The person who owned the vehicle before me must have parked in a pond. Everything under the car is rusted beyond normal. :(
The rear control arm broke off because of the rust when i was driving it. :(
