Resonator FLOWMASTER?

Was watching a truck show and they mentioned using a flowmaster resonator before the muffler to get rid of the interior drone, I have this on the freeway and its very annoying.

Has anyone used one, its pretty pricey and wondering if I should put it in. If it does work, are there any other brands that could be cheaper.

On my 03, I believe I used a 3" muffler and it slid right in. But can someone verify this.

I found one on flowmasters website, and they had measurements. It wont fit unless I have a muffler shop install it. I put my flowmaster in myself but it was put in a convenient location not leaving enough room for the resonator. So probably not worth the couple hundred dollars it would cost for everything
