I'd replaced the pass side front bearing a couple years ago. (06 Exp 2 wd) I kept hearing a sound I thought was the driver side bearing going so had it replaced. Didn't really help and now it's a definite roar when turning the wheel right, even slight turn to the right. When dead straight or turning left nothing. It is not any grinding or squeal, just a roar. Does it going slow or fast, maybe a little more noticeable going faster. Anyone else experience this? Steering fluid ok, could it be the pump? Any ideas?
Thanks,
PD

turn the wheel and make sure its not rubbing on the fender...it is...check ur ball joint as it may have compressed and now the lower stance is causing the wheel to rub the fender...one of the signs i know to look at my ball joints

Thanks for the reply but no, that's not it. Stock wheels and tires, new shocks all around and bj, bushings, links all replaced about a year ago. This started a couple months ago and I expected it to be the bearing, makes me wonder if the bearing job was just jacked up.
