Rocker Panels

So I noticed mine are starting to get alittle soft
Has any one replaced there's yet , if so what make or place did you get them???

Mine are perfect, but never saw salt until this year. The holes in the back of those panels are perfect for fogging with oil every chance I get. I will do that.

I have rust along the bottom edge of all my doors on the inside and the body underneath. I treat it with rust converter but sure its a losing battle.

What exactly is rusting on yours? How do you replace it? Cut out and reweld in new panels?

The rocker panels are soft, so thats from still plate and runs under the running boards to the underside of the Expy both doors. Mine are soft just below the running boards. I 'm sure they don't help , maybe time for some N-Fab bars.
And yes cut and replace the panel

Check out LMC truck.com (www.lmctruck.com )they have replacement parts for the first and second gen expy and it good quality parts.

LMC doesnt have rockers, Rock auto is the only one who has rockers for the expy but they are $197 ea. PMP has the rockers for an F150 Crew at $124 so you would just need to cut them down, I just got mine 3 weeks ago and will be doing them shortly

Are Expedition and F150 panels the same ??

The rockers are the same except for the rear door towards the rear wheel. The rear door on an f150 Crew is a full square door at the bottom where on the expedition the bottom of the door curves up arond the wheel arch so if you use the crew rocker panels you just have to trim the back
