rubbing noise in steering wheel?

Hello all, I have a 2003 expy xlt and there is a rubbing noise and sensation when turning the steering wheel. Has anyone experienced same and if so what was the remedy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dude I thougth I was the only one that was feeling and hearing that noise I own an 04, Its so freaking annoying. Thinking of taking it to the dealership this weekend. Ill let you know if they find anything with it.

Not just a problem with newer Expy's. I have a 98 EB that does the same thing. I was told it was from pulling on the steering wheel when getting in and out of the truck.
