Good day, I was wondering if any of you guys out there has a service manual for an expy 2000 model 4.6L that I could download. I am a do it yourselfer kind of person who finds joy in fixing things. My expy is still ok for now but I am worried about future repairs. Labor here is quite expensive and few are knowlegeable about expys. What I can save on labor costs I can use to buy parts. Your sharing is gladly appreciated. Thank you very much.

doc, there used to be downloadable versions that could be found on the net for free. But, as luck would have it, Ford got pissed off at this and essentially went on a hunt and had everyone pull them down. So, I wish you luck in getting a downloadable version. You can look around and you can some times find them on places like e-bay and the like. You may also find that books like Haynes and Chiltons may contain enough information to get you through most of what you will be willing to tackle.

Yea, you'll have to look around online. I know I've seen some where you have to change your computer date for them to work. I bought a DVD off ebay a couple years ago that I'm pretty sure was just one of those downloads put onto DVD.

But yes, it really does help to have them.

Thanks I will try to look online. The expy is a little intimidating to tinker with especially if you dont have a clue as to what's wrong with it but it has class and a good rumble of a V8 and is comfortable to drive. I'll just keep on looking. Thanks again.
