Shift selector indicator 2001 ford expedition???

my shift selector indicator is off by half a letter. please help me fix!!!!

i googled: but cant seem to find a good how to or image of where it's at?

LOL i fixed it!!! took me all bout 1 minute to fix...

underneath the dash, above the brake pedal, by a white box, is a black plastic wheel, diameter of a dime, thick as 5 dimes stacked and a cable (red?) to black. i just turned the black plastic wheel clockwise a few times and tested my shifter. got better. turned the black wheel even more... now it's perfectly aligned. i didn't want to over tighten it for fear of breaking it....
