Smoked head lamp conversion

I was wondering if anyone has swapped out the factory head lamps for the smoked version? This would be changing out the entire head light housing from the factory "chrome" look to the black housing? has anyone done this and do you have pics?

there have been a few that blacked them out themselves.... or find a set already done and swap the housing. pretty straight forward process.... others should chime in soon

yup theres actually an oem part number, if you look at any of the limiteds and a limited few ppl on here have swapped them out and yes its the entire housing.

can get them on ebay for around $300 you can get leds, halos, or just stock black

How would you smoke them yourself? Can you open the housing? wouldn't that allow for moisture to get in and fog the lens? Thinking 600.00 for two oem's aren't worth it after all. Thanks for your input
