Snowplowing with 2007 Ford Expedition

Anyone have any thoughts on snowplowing with a 2007 Ford Expedition? Snowdogg makes a plow for light trucks and SUV's (I think it's around 400lbs)I thought about getting one. I live on a private drive so I would be plowing that...not looking to make it a business.

The polycarb plows are a lot lighter and easier to deal with.


FYI though, Ford specifically states that the only vehicles that should be used for plowing are F250 and F350 trucks. (despite the fact that we all know that it's just the lawyers covering their *****)

this is what i think donot plow in A4WD its only an electric clutch.
the weakest piont is the auto hubs they are not for plowing

Okay, that Superplow thing has the be about the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. If anything it should be flipped around so you can push the snow instead of pulling it... What are you supposed to do when you get to the end of your driveway and have a huge snowbank?

Plowing with such a new truck is just asking for it to get beat up. That's a job for like a 80's F250
