So lately I've been seeing all this stuff happening lately. The Vegas shooting, the guy running people over in NY, the Walmart shooting, and now the Texas church shooting. It's crazy, the world is going crazy and the only cure is a dose of the Great Outdoors!!! I have been wanting an off road vehicle for a while, and looked at quite a few different ones, finally settled on an expedition. I already posted my ride in the new members section, but now I'm more serious than ever. I'm not rich, not even close, I make enough to provide for my family, but I'm started this build journey, so I can get lost in the woods, the mountains, the beaches, wherever I can go to get away with my family. Find a little sanity. I'll post most of my build here, and I've started a Youtube channel so anyone can follow along. . . for now here's the updated look, more to follow before the end of the week. (New addition: Roof rack, 3"in cube lights)

Coming Soon: Suspension conversion to coil, Light bar, Lift and Winch.

Make sure you put a gun rack in that bad boy

Oh yeah, not only that, i'm going to have it setup for a hunting rig as well. Bow, rod and reel, the whole nine. I'm not trying to skip out on anything. I want the full experience.

Added a 9" Flood for now, and re positioned the other lights. . . Thinking about adding two 7" floods on either side of the 9, and at least two 7" floods to the rear corners of the rack. . still waiting on the suspension to come in the mail. x.jpg x2.jpg

Not much, kept it dirt cheap. Which is a vibe I got from the thread.

3" body lift ($200)
2.5" Daystar rear spacer ($100)
Front torsion key adjustment.
1.5" wheel spacers ($100)

Is that mirror from the newer gen? that looks nice! did you have to do any extra work to get it to fit?

They came off a 07/08. They bolted right up, haven't gotten the power adjust working, but they are dramatically so much better than the stock I've never needed to move them.

Its a military town with a small town feel pretty area good luck there! I bought mine with the same intentions to pull a small camper and get out there its been too long and the kids r getting old enough that I think they would love camping too. The world is crazy but maybe because we r so focused on the craziness rather than the awesomeness
