My head lights have a crack like finish to them wondering if anybody has seen this they are not rough to the touch wondering if I should replace them or is something as simple as sanding and polishing.

It looks like someone like to drive through bushes by the look of those lol. The mothers head light restore kit would work on that but it would take some elbow grease. You will have to sand that out inorder to get back your transparent finish. The kit comes with sanding pads for head lights so give it a shot. It will take a lot of time. The kit costs like $40 ish so its up to you whether or not you want to take the time to clean it up but it is possible.

Mine have that same look. Are you sure it's not on the inside?

I'm not really sure if it's on the inside or not but I had already bought a headlight sanding and polishing kit but I'm gonna try that before I but new headlights. But I know it's not from driving through brush it being two wheel drive I don't do a hole lot of off roading.

Update

I spent 2 hours with a sanding and polishing kit with little luck but the pits and what looks like cracks are still there which now I guess there on the inside but on the upside to doing this they are really smooth now..also if your lights are looking hazy I could really see this working great..
