Stacked lift spacers?

Hey y'all, a while back I lifted my 2000 at the same time as converting to coil springs. I used a 2" vinyl? set from Ebay, and nothing is wrong with those but the rear has settled slightly and is noticeably lower than the front, to the point it bugs me.

My question is, can I buy a set of 1.5" aluminum spacers and stack these on top of one another, or have one on top and one on bottom of the spring? Or is that too dangerous and should I lower the front? (Which I'd really rather not do and lose ground clearance and appearance...)

I'm ok if I have a slight downward rake in the front as long as the rear is level or higher.

I was told the aluminum ones are possibly prone to noise in the form of possible squeaking.

Also, I would do that if there were 3.5-4" spacers available. Are there? The 2" ones I have in the rear aren't enough. I need more inches!

why stack the spacers...get the aluminum built to the height desired and get it coated in rubber if ur concerned about squeaking

I'm not sure the aluminum come in anything more than 2", which I already have... Not too concerned about the material really, I had only included that tidbit for informational purposes only..

To be clear, I desire 3.5-4" of lift in the rear and am only aware of spacers that are 2" max, hence my question of whether or not I can stack them :)

I'm not 100% but it looks like you can stack the aluminum spacers on top of each other.
If they do just get someone that can weld aluminum and where the two spacers sit on eachother weld it for safety.

If you can find a machine shop and can show them what you are looking for, they could cut you any height you want. Might be a little more than just buying the spacers, but still would be fairly cheap. And as long as they aren't installing them, they should have no issue making them as far as liability and what not

Ok, how do people achieve more than 2" of lift in the rear without custom making spacers?

Could you not modify one made for an F150? I know they make everything from 1"-3.5" leveling kits for those.

Not sure you can get Fabtech springs but there are coil spring manufactures that you can get custom coils from

I was under the impression that stacking spacers was a very bad idea. And that if you go more than the 3 inch max you should do a full suspension lift at that time. that lifting that much is going to put a lot o strain on your tie rods and ball joints causing them to prematurely fail.
